Who is the course writer and senior tutor?
Simon Savage is a highly successful building and interior designer and the course writer and senior tutor for the British College of Interior Design.
Simon holds a master’s degree in interior design, trained in Amsterdam, and has worked on projects internationally. His work has been featured in interior design magazines and publications.
When asked about becoming an interior designer, Simon often emphasises a simple idea:
“Interior designers are not born; they are taught. The simple truth is, it’s not that difficult.”
He also adds:
“Given an interest in interior design, a little flair and a willingness to learn, this course will equip you with the professional knowledge and skills required to succeed as an interior designer.”
