I have always enjoyed creativity, colour, fabrics and transforming spaces. I chose to study with the British College of Interior Design because the course offered a flexible, practical way to develop my creativity while gaining professional knowledge and skills in interior design.
I particularly enjoyed learning about space planning, colour schemes, furniture layouts, lighting, materials and sustainable design. I loved seeing an idea develop from an initial concept into a complete design.
The assignments were practical, creative and varied. They allowed me to apply what I learned through floor plans, mood boards, design concepts, research and presentations. I enjoyed the challenge of creating designs that were both attractive and functional.
Overall, this was an enjoyable and valuable learning experience that has increased my passion for interior design and sustainable, creative interiors. I hope to continue developing my interior design skills and building a creative portfolio. My aim is to explore opportunities in interior design, sustainable interiors and creative projects, while continuing to learn and grow professionally.
This course has equipped me with the ideas, knowledge and tools to start my own business, which I’m really looking forward to. Most importantly, it has given me hope for a brighter future.
I would highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to explore their creativity and develop practical skills in interior design.
