While expecting my second daughter, I wanted to learn more about interior design, which was, until then, a hobby. Having a full-time job to go back to and a family with two small ones to manage, I wanted a program that would be flexible in terms of timing and submission of assignments. I also wanted a course that offered broad content to cover interior design skills, the discovery of the industry and different opportunities in the market. The Professional Interior Design Course ticked all the right boxes.
The content was dynamic and offered a lot of additional reading and activities to further my learning. The feedback from my tutor was always really personalised and challenged me when I needed to be challenged to improve the quality of my design and presentation with the prospect of having my content meet client standards.
My certification from the College gave me the confidence to create my studio with a specific focus on eco-interior design. While I'm still navigating through the creation of my business, the first few projects I have managed helped to ensure the quality of service I can provide. My clients were really satisfied with the detail and quality of support they received. The Professional Interior Design Course has allowed me to build a solid basis to create my business and start in this industry.
