I found The Professional Interior Design Course fulfilling. The amount of information I learned in a short time is mind-blowing.
The tutorials were easy to follow and fun to read. The assignments were interesting, nicely worded and had a brilliant option for all different types of learners, which made the course unbiased.
I loved learning the different colour schemes and applying them to my assignments. I enjoyed mixing different colours and seeing how to complement each colour with a different tint or hue. It was very interesting and soothing to create different colour schemes out of unique, bright and funky colours. It was a brilliant experiment. I also enjoyed creating and designing my own house and experimenting with different styles, colours and themes.
I thought my tutor’s feedback was easy to read and understand while explaining different ways to improve my assignments. He also provided tips for the next assignment and important little reminders.
I learned that I was very interested in designing homes instead of drawing the architecture and the structure of a building. I also loved writing up client profiles. I believe this is from my enjoyment of English Literature and Language in high school.
I am gaining work experience (and getting paid for it) at Wrought Iron and Brass Beds to be a sales advisor in furniture. I’m very excited to have this work experience and learn more practical skills. My goals in the future involve real estate or designing homes. I would love to renovate summer rental homes in different countries. I would definitely recommend this course as it was easy to follow and just brilliant.
