I have been in the interior design industry for over 15 years and have assisted designers, teams, and have acted as an interior designer. Still, I always felt that there were gaps of knowledge missing, like a puzzle that is all completed outside, and the 20 vital central pieces are not there.
I decided to enrol in The Professional Interior Design Course on the first lockdown after I was made redundant. This was my opportunity to fulfil my dream and finally call myself an interior designer with a diploma and an ID card.
The course tutorials are easy to understand and packed with information. I have used Pinterest and created a board for every tutorial by adding images that represent that tutorial. I have researched and understood every term that I felt I wanted to learn more.
My tutor is extremely knowledgeable, and I have relished his feedback on all of my assignments. The faculty team are supportive and always ready to assist with any queries.
The course has given me the tools to confidently take on a project from concept design to installation. I have completed the course and enjoyed every moment, every research, every online tutorial and am still researching and learning. My eyes have opened, and I walk looking at things differently, and I automatically create colour schemes in my head.
I have a new job now. I have been contracted by a luxury residential interiors company to assist with the design and procurement.
I cannot recommend a better interior design course to anyone starting in the industry and those with some experience.
