The Professional Interior Design Course with the British College of Interior Design was a great personal achievement. It was also a thoroughly enjoyable process with great tutors and admin support team to help ensure I got the best experience.
The team were always on hand for any questions. They were also very informative with guidance as to where to find more information if necessary. During the course, I had a personal tragedy and the team were the most supportive I could have wished for through this time and helped to ensure that I completed the course with the best intentions and head-space that I could.
The course material was brilliant as well. Compiled in 12 sizeable documents, the course takes you through the whole process of setting up and running a freelance interior design business. Every tutorial helped me to build my business templates and administration and I was able to learn/tailor this to my desired outcome. I set up my new business during the completion of my course, and I am now operating as an interior designer. The course has given me the confidence to gain a couple of clients which I am working with at present and I’m loving it. I’m also currently gathering additional skillsets with CAD courses and CPD seminars/lectures, as well as networking to keep up to date with trends, regulations.
If anyone is thinking of joining BCID, I would highly recommend this or to at least get in touch with the team and find out more. My business is set-up and operational and I'm gradually transferring my original career in advertising to full-time Interior design.
